RESPONDENT RULING 1. The Applicants were charged with stealing stock contrary to Section 278 of the Penal Code. 2. The Applicants were sentenced to five (5) years imprisonment and they have served almost four years since 4th May 2023. 3. In line with the policy for decongestion of prisons, the court called for Sentence Review Reports. The said reports dated 10th November 2025 are favourable. 4. The two Applicants are accordingly released to serve 10 months Community Service order at Kamtonga Police Station.
