Refund Policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

1. Who processes your payment

Subscriptions to Caselaw are sold and processed by our payment provider, Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record. Your bank or card statement will show a charge from Paddle. Refunds are issued by Paddle back to your original payment method.

2. Free trial and free plan

You can evaluate Caselaw before paying. If you are on a free plan or within a free trial, you will not be charged unless the trial converts to a paid plan, which we make clear before it does.

3. Refunds

If you are not satisfied, you may request a refund within 14 days of your first payment for a plan. We will refund that payment in full, provided the plan has not been abused (for example, bulk extraction of data). Renewal payments are not normally refundable once the new period has begun, but contact us and we will consider genuine cases.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account (or via the Paddle customer portal). Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate partial periods on cancellation, except where required by law.

5. How to request a refund

Email support@counselconnect.co.ke from your account address with your order or subscription reference. You may also contact Paddle directly using the link in your payment receipt.

6. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects any statutory rights you may have under Kenyan consumer law or the terms of the payment provider.
