The defendant/applicant moved this court vide the Notice of Motion dated 4th November, 2024 seeking an order to discharge the status quo order issued herein on 31/5/2018. The said application is similar to the one filed in HCCC No. 24 of 2017 and of even date. 2. The court however dismissed the said application in HCCC No. 24 of 2017 – Lake Nakuru Crescent Camp Ltd v SBM Bank (K) Ltd, the successor of Chase Bank (K) Ltd (in liquidation). 3. The court enjoined the defendant/applicant in this matter in place of the former defendant. It was thus granted locus standi to prosecute the application dated 4th November, 2024. 4.
